Google Pixel 8 Pro Spotted in New Leaks

Leaked Renders of Google Pixel 8 Pro Reveal Familiar Design Ahead of Rumored Tease at I/O Conference

CAD-based renders of the highly anticipated Google Pixel 8 Pro have leaked today, showcasing a design language that is reminiscent of its predecessor. Although the phone is not expected to be released until October, it is possible that Google may tease it on May 10 during its I/O developer conference, just as it did last year with the Pixel 7 series.

Compared to last year's Pixel 7 Pro, the Pixel 8 Pro features more rounded corners and a less boxy appearance. The camera island has also been revamped, with all three cameras now housed in the same oval opening in the metal. Interestingly, a new sensor has been added underneath the flash, though its purpose is currently unknown.

According to leaked specifications, the Pixel 8 Pro measures 162.6 x 76.5 x 8.7 mm and has a display of approximately 6.52 inches. It is also said to be powered by the upcoming Google Tensor G3 SoC, which is rumored to be based on the unannounced Samsung Exynos 2300.

Moving on to more imminent releases, Google's mid-range Pixel 7a has recently leaked twice and is rumored to be released in June, alongside the highly anticipated Pixel Fold. The Pixel Fold will be available in two color versions, Carbon and Porcelain, while the Pixel 7a will come in Arctic Blue, Carbon, and Cotton hues, with a possible Jade version in the works. The Pixel 7a is expected to be priced at around €500, while the Pixel Fold is rumored to cost around €1,700 and will only be available with 256GB of storage.

Both devices are expected to be announced at Google's I/O developer conference.
