Samsung Launches Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54: Mid-Range Duo With Impressive Specs

Samsung has finally unveiled the much-awaited mid-range duo after weeks of speculations and leaks. The latest smartphones in the Galaxy A series are the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54.

Interestingly, the Galaxy A54 is smaller in size with a 6.4-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and Vision Booster support. The phone measures 158.2x76.7x8.2mm and weighs 202g.

On the other hand, the Galaxy A34 boasts a bigger 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display with the same 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, and Vision Booster features. It stands at 161.3x78.1x8.2mm and weighs 199g.

Both phones share similar features such as an IP67 rating for dust and water protection and a powerful 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging. However, the similarities end there.

The Samsung Galaxy A54 features a 50MP f/1.8 main camera, a 12MP f/2.2 fixed-focus ultrawide shooter, and a 5MP f/2.4 dedicated macro camera. It also has a 32MP f/2.2 selfie camera.

On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A34 comes with a 48MP F/1.8 main camera, 8MP F/2.2 ultrawide unit, and 5MP F/2.4 macro shooter. The selfie camera on this phone has a 13MP sensor.

Under the hood, the Galaxy A54 runs on the 5nm Exynos 1380 chipset, while the Galaxy A34 features the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1080. Both phones are available in 6GB or 8GB of RAM, paired with 128GB or 256GB of expandable storage.

The Galaxy A34 is available in four colors: Lime, Graphite, Violet, and Silver. The 6/128GB model is priced at €390, while the 8/256GB model, normally priced at €460, is on sale for just €409.

The Galaxy A54 is available in Lime, Graphite, Violet, and White. The 6/128GB model starts at €490, while the 8/256GB model, normally priced at €540, is on sale for €490. Both phones will hit the markets in Europe and Asia from this month.
